For a quarter-century in more than ninety countries, Habitat for Humanity has built homes with and for the people who need them, aided by more than a million multigenerational volunteers. During this event author David Rubel will read from his new book for young readers If I Had a Hammer: Building Homes & Hope with Habitat for Humanity. Members of our local West River Habitat for Humanity will also be on hand to talk about their organization and current Habitat projects right here in the Deerfield Valley.
